Programs

Partial Hospitalization Program

Pathways Treatment Center’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides intensive treatment and support to individuals who require a higher level of care than what is offered in traditional outpatient programs. The PHP program is designed for clients who don’t require a 24/7 inpatient program but still need more structure and a more focused level of attention and support.

During a PHP, individuals attend Pathways Treatment Center on a daily basis for a structured program of group therapy, individual therapy, and medication (if they qualify). This level of care is ideal for those transitioning out of inpatient programs or those who require more attention than IOPs or traditional outpatient treatment typically offer. You should expect to attend a PHP for five to eight hours a day, five days a week.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Pathways’ Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a flexible program designed to allow individuals to attend treatment while still maintaining work and family commitments. The IOP program provides support and education to individuals to assist them in maintaining sobriety while addressing the underlying issues that led to addiction.

The program consists of group counseling, group activities, and individual therapy sessions. Individuals attend treatment for at least nine hours per week, and the program can be completed in 12 to 16 weeks.

IOPs are considered a more structured program than a traditional outpatient program, but less intense than a PHP. IOPs can also be used as a step-down program from a PHP or residential treatment program. In certain circumstances, intensive outpatient treatment can also be used for someone suffering from co-occurring disorders.

Outpatient Program

Pathways Treatment Center’s outpatient program is designed for individuals who have completed the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The outpatient program is flexible and allows individuals to attend treatment while still being able to work or go to school.

During outpatient treatment, individuals attend group therapy sessions, individual therapy sessions, and recovery support groups. The program focuses on relapse prevention, coping skills, and developing a support network for long-term recovery. The length of the program varies depending on the individual’s progress and needs. This program can be especially helpful for someone who needs extra support in recovery or may be struggling with relapse.

Programs

Medication-Assisted Treatment

Pathways Treatment Center uses medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to aid in the recovery process for people who have been struggling with addiction. MAT combines medication, behavioral therapies, and counseling to help individuals overcome addiction.

MAT is an effective treatment option for individuals struggling with opioid and alcohol abuse as these forms of addiction can be especially difficult to quit alone. This is especially true if the person has a long history of battling these substances. However, MAT may not be suitable for everyone. At Pathways, individuals receive a detailed assessment to determine whether MAT is a good option for their recovery.

Programs

Dual Diagnosis

At Pathways Treatment Center, individuals are provided with comprehensive care that addresses both addiction and mental health issues. Pathways’ Dual Diagnosis treatment provides specialized care for individuals who have co-occurring addictive and mental health disorders.

The program is designed to address the interaction between addiction and mental health and provides clients with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage both conditions simultaneously. Dual diagnosis is a highly individualized treatment solution to address each person’s unique situation of addiction and mental illness.

At Pathways, Your Treatment is Always Unique to You

At Pathways Treatment Center, there is a recognition that each individual requires a unique treatment plan that is tailored to their specific behavioral health needs. As a result, treatment plans are designed based on the results of in-depth assessments, including a thorough physical exam, detailed psychological assessment, and a thorough evaluation of the individual’s environment and past medical and substance use history.

Individualized programs allow for the development of treatment plans that use evidence-based approaches to address the specific needs of each patient. This approach is effective and makes it possible for people to achieve long-lasting recovery outcomes.
