Joseph Dandrea | Owner & CEO

Joseph DandreaJoe is an active member of the local recovery community throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His passion for helping others stems from his own battle to overcome drug addiction. With over a decade of sobriety, Joe overcame homelessness in 2013 and has since dedicated his life to supporting those struggling with substance use disorders.

Today, Joe’s life is vastly different—he goes to any length to assist individuals in overcoming drug and alcohol dependence. His mission is clear, and the quality of clinical care he provides is unmatched. Joe maintains personal contact with all his clients, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary for long-term success. This level of individualized care fosters a truly life-changing experience for everyone who becomes part of the Pathways Recovery Community.

Joe’s approach to clinical care is rooted in individualized, twelve-step-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), complemented by personalized, around-the-clock clinical support that addresses all facets of his clients’ lives.

Joe’s diverse background in education, administration and special education provides him with a unique advantage in leading Pathways Treatment Center. With experience as both a teacher and an administrator, Joe understands the importance of structure, leadership, and individualized care—key components of a successful recovery program. He holds a Master’s degree in Administration from Gwynedd Mercy University, a Master’s degree in Special Education from Holy Family University, and a Bachelor of Science from Bloomsburg University.

David Gigliotti | Medical Director

David GigliottiDr. Gigliotti is the medical director at Pathways Treatment Center in Burlington. He is board-certified in family medicine and addiction medicine. He received his license to practice in New Jersey in 1995. Dr. Gigliotti graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at The University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Gigliotti has been in private family practice since 1997. Concerned and compelled by the nationwide problem of drug addiction and overdose, Dr. Gigliotti earned Board Certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine in 2014. As medical director, he provides compassionate care and treats his patients in a holistic approach to better health. He is uniquely qualified to recognize and treat the co-occurring disorders that can lead to treatment success.

Michele Koch-LaFemina | Clinical Director/Clinical Supervisor

Michele Koch-LaFeminaMichele is the Clinical Director at Pathways Treatment Center. Michele has over 20 years of experience in various settings including agencies, in-home, partial hospitalizations and private practice. While seeking to provide a warm, healing, and nonjudgmental environment, Michele has worked with individuals, couples and groups to help them manage stress/heal emotional wounds. She has a strong desire to gently motivate, educate, inspire and empower individuals to establish healthy emotional boundaries. Therapy should be a tell-all safe space for the client to comfortably share their deepest thoughts, desires, and cognitive distortions. Michele specializes in working with individuals with concerns related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, substance abuse, trauma, relational concerns, as well an ally to LGBTQ, has provided many opportunities to work with amazing people on a personal level. Michele’s credentials include the following:
